The sincere prayer of Yunus Aleyhisselam is not a myth written in a history book! It is not a legend passed down from mouth to mouth! The sincere prayers of the three young men trapped in a cave, as told in the hadith, are not just a story told.
It is a true story that everyone knows. Yunus Aleyhisselam was thrown into the wavy sea, swallowed by a big fish, the Prophet Yunus's prayer while he was in the sea; When it was almost impossible for him to escape from the situation he was in, he prayed to Allah as follows: Lâ ilâhe illâ ente subhâneke innî kuntu minez zâlimîn. "I purify you from all imperfection. Indeed, I was one of those who wronged themselves." The Almighty Allah Almighty answered Yunus Aleyhisselam's prayer and saved him with a miracle.
The hadith narrates the salvation of the three young men who took refuge in the cave and were trapped there as follows;
“Three people who lived before you set out on a journey. When evening came, they entered a cave to sleep. But a rock that broke away from the mountain closed the mouth of the cave. Thereupon they said to each other:
- Nothing can save you from this rock except praying to Allah using your good deeds as a means.”
One of them began to speak:
- My God! My mother and father were very old. I would not feed or drink my children or servants before they had eaten their meals. One day I left home to find food for the animals; I could not return before they went to sleep. When I came home and milked the animals and took their milk to my mother and father, I saw that they were both asleep. I did not want to wake them, nor did I think it appropriate for the family and servants to eat or drink before them. I waited until dawn for them to wake up, the milk jug in my hand. The children were whimpering around me from hunger. Finally, they woke up and drank their milk. My God! If I did this to gain your approval, then take this rock away from us!” he pleaded. The rock opened a little; but it was still impossible to get out.
Another one started talking:
– My God! My uncle had a daughter. I loved her more than anyone else. I wanted to have her. But she refused. There had been a famine one year. My uncle’s daughter came. I gave her 120 gold coins on the condition that she would surrender herself to me. She had to accept. When I wanted to have her, she said:
– Fear God! Do not get me by a means that religion does not approve!
Even though she was the one I loved and desired the most, I distanced myself from her and did not take back the gold I gave her. My God! If I did this to gain your approval, then take this rock away from us.” he pleaded. The rock opened a little more; but it was still impossible to get out.
The third man said:
– My God! I once hired many workers. I paid them all except one who left without taking his pay. I worked the money of the one who left without taking his pay. This money created a great fortune. One day this man came to me. He said to me:
- O servant of Allah! Give me my wages." I said to him:
- The camels, cattle, sheep and slaves that you see are derived from your wages." The poor man said:
- O servant of Allah! Do not mock me." I replied:
- I am not mocking you." Thereupon he took them all away without leaving anything. He begged, "O my Lord! If I did this only to gain Your pleasure, then save us from the distress we are in." The rock that blocked the mouth of the cave opened up completely; they went out." (Bukhari, Buyu, 98; Muslim, Zikir, 100)
Flour and food ran out in Gaza, life barely continuing came to a standstill, aid delivery routes were closed, his unscrupulous brothers closed all the roads leading to Gaza. The reasons ran out! A handful of people tried to do the best they could. All reasons for help have been exhausted. Yes, it is time to pray together at this very point. But this prayer should be a single text and a prayer that everyone can pray at the same time and at the same time. Announcements should be made through the press and social media to ask for help from Allah. The prayer should first start with sincere repentance. Allah should be begged for the acceptance of the prayers of those who participate in the prayer in the unseen. The person praying should intercede with a good deed that he has done himself, a good deed that he has done sincerely and sincerely, and then we should pray for Allah to help the oppressed in Gaza in a way that we do not know or cannot know, to destroy the oppressors, to confess our own helplessness and to pray for the urgent intervention of Almighty Allah. I hope this call will be answered.
Oh Allah, grant salvation to the oppressed in Gaza, grant victory to those who act for Your sake, and grant those who commit massacres, regardless of the elderly, children or women, a misery they have never tasted in this world or the hereafter. Amen, amen, amen.
